As Logistics / Warehouse Manager, y ou will take responsibility for the efficient running of the Warehouse/Logistics and its workforce at our main distribution centre in A lsager, Cheshire.

The key areas of responsibility will be to;

• Implement and manage an accurate stock control system
• Maintain an efficient and reliable order tracking system
• Liaise with suppliers and customers
• Plan & organise work schedules & procedures
• Maintain the security of the warehouse

The ideal candidate would have previous management /supervisory experience in a warehouse environment. A high standard of literacy and numeracy is essential.

As the majority of our systems are computerised, a reasonable working knowledge of computers would be extremely beneficial.

A forklift operator’s licence would also be ideal but not essential.

You will also need to be in good health as the job could involve lifting and carrying of items which weigh up to 30Kg
